Abstract

This study was conducted at the Sungai Penuh City DPRD secretariat. This study aims to
determine the influence of organizational culture and compensation on job satisfaction of the
civil service of the state. The number of samples determined was 32 respondents using the
Quantitative method. As an independent variable, namely Organizational Culture and
Compensation, while the dependent variable is job satisfaction. The analysis used is multiple
linear analysis including, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing.The results of the
analysis using multiple liners can be seen that the variables of organizational culture affect job
satisfaction by 0.467 and Compensation affects job satisfaction by 0.626, both variables have a
positive effect on job satisfaction, and. The results of the analysis using the coefficient of
determination is known that 68.2 percent of the variation of job satisfaction can be explained by
the independent variables studied in this study and 32.8 percent explained by other factors
outside this discussion. And the results of hypothesis testing both partially and simultaneously
that the dependent variable on the independent variable has a significant effect using the t-test
and f-test
