Abstract

Analysis of Political Socialization during the Covid Pandemic 19 Facing the 2020 General Elections (Case study at the KPU Sungai Penuh City). With the formulation of the problem of how to analyze the political socialization of the Covid 19 pandemic in the face of the 2020 simultaneous elections at the KPU Sungai Penuh City. And what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of political socialization during the Covid 19 pandemic in facing the 2020 simultaneous elections at the Sungai Penuh KPU. The purpose of this study was to determine the Political Socialization Process of the Covid 19 Pandemic Period in Facing the 2020 Simultaneous Elections at the Sungai Penuh KPU and to determine the Supporting and Inhibiting Factors of Political Socialization during the Covid 19 Pandemic Period in Facing the 2020 Simultaneous Election at the Sungai Penuh KPU. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach where the technique in this study uses library research and field research. The conclusion of this research is that through the family can make understanding to children about simultaneous election, through the mass media at this time is very helpful for disseminating information. The supporting factors in the implementation of general elections during this pandemic have been assisted by the police and banwaslu, while the inhibiting factor is the condition of the Covid 19 pandemic which requires all circles to comply with health protocols so that many people find people who violate the health program so that it makes it difficult for the KPU to implement it. political socialization.
