Abstract

Maihendro, 2020 Undergraduate Program at STIA Nusa Sungai Penuh, Professionalism of Kerinci Regency DPRD Members in Carrying Out Main Duties and Functions. The purpose of this study is to determine the professionalism of members of the Kerinci Regency DPRD in carrying out their main duties and functions. The research method used is a qualitative approach method. Informants in this study ASN at the Secretariat of DPRD Kerinci Regency and several members of DPRD Kerinci Regency. The research instrument is the researcher himself and data collection through interviews and field observations. The professionalism of members of the DPRD in Kerinci Regency in carrying out their main duties and functions includes competence, integrity, responsiveness and accountability. Research Results Overall aspects of competence, integrity, responsiveness and accountability which are indicators of professionalism need to be achieved in order to improve the quality of legislators needed by the public. The professionalism of members of the Kerinci Regency DPRD in carrying out their main duties and functions of all indicators is almost close to good. however, there are still some weaknesses and weaknesses in its implementation.
