Abstract

Determination of Compensation System Based on Risk Assessment and Performance Appraisal for Fire Officers in Kerinci Kabupaten. Human resources are a critical component of an organization and play an important role for the success of the organization. Therefore, every employee must get special attention from the organization. One of the important elements in human resource management is the compensation system, where the purpose of providing compensation includes attracting, retaining and motivating employees of one of the organizations whose activities are mostly controlled by humans, namely the Office of SATPOL PP and Damkar Kerinci Kabupaten. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, where data is obtained through free field interviews with eleven informants. The results of the study explain that in order to improve the performance of firefighters, it is necessary to have quality, quantity, implementation of duties and responsibilities in work so as to obtain good quality and quantity of work, with good quality work, risk assessment and performance appraisal compensation will be obtained.
