Dinul Mukharam, 2020. This study aims to determine how the political communication strategy at the General Election Commission of Kerinci Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection technique in this study used interviews and observation methods, where interviews were conducted with 7 informants who were employees of the General Election Commission of Kerinci Regency, the Success Team for Candidates and the Community of Kerinci Regency.
The findings of the research show that the overall political communication of the candidate pairs for the Regional Head election of Kerinci Regency in the General Election Commission of Kerinci Regency can be categorized as very good, there are several aspects that have been well implemented, including: Political Communicators, Political Messages, Political Channels or Media, Political Audiences and Effects of Political Communication. The application of a good political communication strategy will get good results in selecting candidate pairs again, and can be used as a reference in policy making prioritizing political communication skills.
