Abstract

With the Formulation of the Problem What is the role of the community policing program by the kerinci police partners in maintaining security and security in the legal area of the Marine surveillance police. This research uses a qualitative approach, where the research method is using library research and field research. From the results of research using this method, it is known that the success of Polmas and Kamtibmas in providing direction to the community has been effective and has been right on target because it can add insight, knowledge and understanding given directly by members of the Community Police who already have professional abilities. The success of Polmas and kamtibmas in receiving public complaints has been very good. The success of Polmas and kamtibmas in this activity has increased the intensity of work between the polmas and kamtibmas with the community because they can work together in improving performance
