Abstract

The Effect of Career Development Systems on Public Service Performance of Civil Servants through Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable in the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Sungai Penuh City. With the formulation of the problem, is there an influence of career development on public service performance through satisfaction in the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Sungai Penuh City either partially or simultaneously. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of career development on public service performance through satisfaction in the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Sungai Penuh City. This research uses a quantitative approach, where the research method is using Path Analysis and Simple Linear Regression Analysis. From the results of research using this method it is known that work culture and service quality have a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction. And there is an indirect effect of career development on public service performance through satisfaction as evidenced by the path coefficient value (-0.135) x (-0.331), the value is 0.044685 (0.045 Indirect Effects). The conclusion of this research is that career development and satisfaction together have a positive effect on public service performance at BKPSDM Sungai Penuh City.
