Abstract

Pulau Pandan Village, Bukit Kerman District, Kerinci Regency is the location of the author's exploration and field service which is geographically located at an altitude of approximately 150 masl, precisely on the edge of Lake Kerinci. Lake Kerinci has various natural and cultural tourism objects which are also supported by the richness of local customs and culture which synergize with local wisdom of fishermen, vegetable farmers and agriculture which are the livelihoods of the majority of the community. It is an efficient and effective step to make the Pandanini Island village a Tourism Village. The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of tourism villages and community empowerment based on local potentials on Pandan Island. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, the results of the research. Development of a tourist village-based tourism village will of course have an impact either positive or negative. A tourist spot certainly has impacts on the surrounding environment. The community in the environment of a village is very important in the life of a tourist object, which is very important in the life of a tourist object because they have a culture that can become a tourist attraction, community support for tourist attractions in the form of basic necessities for tourist attractions, adequate labor where the parties managers of tourist objects need it to support the sustainability of the object's life and satisfy people who need work which makes people's lives better.
