     Thesis of ILHAM PRATAMA (2020). NPM. 1610078201355. Nusantara Sakti College of Administrative Scienes (STIA – NUSA). Typology of Areas as Reference to Increase the Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) and the Plantation & Agriculture Office of Sungai Penuh City. The purpose of this research is to find out how the use of regional typology in increasing development in Sungai Penuh City. The approach taken in this research is qualitative. The number of informants was 3 people. Data collection techniques and tools in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The unif of analysis is the institutions in this research, namely Bappeda and the Departement of Plantation & Agriculture at Sungai Penuh City. The results show the importance of recommending the local government of the river city area to debate local regulations issued by local regulations, so that the absence of land function experts who used to be timber plantations in an erosion buffer zone in exchange for vegetable or agricultural cultivation violates the correct typological govermance.
