Abstract

Implementation of the City Without Slum Program (Kotaku) in Slum Settlements in Koto Baru Village, Koto Baru Subdistrict, Sungai Penuh City. Department of Public Administration, Archipelago Sakti College of Administrative Sciences (STIA-NUSA). 2020. The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation process of the city program without slum (KOTAKU) in slum settlements in the village of Koto Baru, kec. New Koto full river town. The informants in this study were the Head of Settlement Development (PERKIM) for Sungai Penuh City, the Head of Koto Baru Village, the Secretary of Koto Baru Village and the BPD of Koto Baru Village. The data collection tool used in this study was a list of questions in the form of an interview guide. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. There are 4 stages used to carry out slum area management activities, including: the socialization stage, the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods. The results showed that the implementation process of the KOTAKU program was carried out according to the stages, where at the socialization stage it was seen that the community seemed enthusiastic in welcoming the KOTAKU program, the planning stage was carried out by involving the community by considering environmental conditions, so it was agreed that the development priorities were Environmental Drainage and Environmental Roads. In the process of implementing / working on this project, it runs in accordance with the work concept that has been discussed by involving the community, while in the evaluation stage the activities are carried out openly, every community may attend when an evaluation meeting is held.
