With the formulation of the problem whether there is an influence of career development and leadership on performance in the Kerinci Regency DPRD Secretariat either partially or simultaneously. The purpose of this study was to see the influence and magnitude of the influence of career development and leadership on performance at the DPRD Secretariat of Kerinci Regency. The data collected in this study are as many as 30 respondents using a quantitative approach, where the research method is to use multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of research using this method it is known that career development and leadership together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the calculated f value of 13,100 and f table of 3.35 with a significance of 0,000, therefore f count> f table (13,100> 3,44), so the significance value is less than 0.05 (0,000 <0 , 05) while partially career development has an effect on performance with tcount> table of 4.882> 1.70113 with a significant level of 0.000 (Signification <5%) So there is a significant influence between Career Development (X1) on performance at the DPRD Secretariat of Kerinci Regency ( Y) the influence of the influence of leadership on performance is the tcount> table of 1.914> 1.70113 with a significant level of 0.000 (Signification <5%) So there is a significant influence between leadership (X2) on performance at the DPRD Secretariat of Kerinci Regency (Y) and the dominant variable affecting the performance variable is the career development variable with. The conclusion of this research is that career development and leadership together have a positive effect on employee performance at the DPRD Secretariat of Kerinci Regency.
