Abstract

Regional Government Strategies in Improving Employee Performance in the General Section of the Regional Secretariat of Kerinci Regency. The formulation of the research problem, namely, what is the regional government strategy in improving the performance of employees in the general division of the Kerinci District Regional Secretariat? The research objective is to find out the strategy of the local government in improving the performance of employees in the general section of the Regional Secretariat of Kerinci Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained through field interview guides to 8 informants referring to 3 research indicators, namely 1. Increasing Apparatus Competence 2. Developing SOPs and SPM 3. Improving supporting facilities and infrastructure. The data obtained in the field were analyzed based on the classification of the informants' answers which were described in the results and discussion of the research which was then carried out by the interpreter of the researcher. It is known that the regional government strategy in improving the performance of employees in the general section of the Regional Secretariat of Kerinci Regency as a whole has been maximally implemented because of the 3 indicators tested, only the local government has implemented the strategy maximally so that employee performance can be carried out properly.
