Abstract

Phenomena that occur in the field, namely, lack of community involvement in government, such as prioritizing interested parties rather than society in terms of planning and development processes. In the regional autonomy and justice policies the government is less effective and efficient in running the government in Sungai Penuh City. In the regional autonomy policy, the government still prioritizes rights over obligations, such as doing work safely without the desire to innovate and a lack of justice in running the government. The formulation of the research problem, namely, How is the Regional Autonomy and Justice Policy in Realizing Good Governance in Sungai Penuh City? The research objective is to determine the Regional Autonomy Policy and Justice in Realizing Good Governance in Sungai Penuh City. This research uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained through field interview guides to 6 informants referring to 5 research indicators, namely 1. Freedom 2. Participation 3. Effectiveness and efficiency 4. Providing mandatory fulfillment which is a right in human life 5. Prioritizing rights rather than obligation. The data obtained in the field were analyzed based on the classification of the informants' answers which were described in the results and research discussions which were then carried out by the interpreter of the researcher. It is known that the Regional Autonomy and Justice Policy in Realizing Good Governance in Sungai Penuh City that regional autonomy and justice policies have been implemented well in the administration of Sungai Penuh City. For this reason, the authors suggest that regional autonomy and justice policies in realizing good governance can continue to be improved in order to form good guidelines.
