ABSTRACT
With the formulation of the problem whether work discipline has an indirect effect on performance through motivation in the children's section at RSU M. H.A Thalib, Kerinci Regency. And the purpose of this research is to find out that work discipline has an indirect effect on performance through motivation in the children's section at RSU M. H.A Thalib, Kerinci Regency. Respondents in this study were all nurses, staff, children in the general hospital of Mayjen H.A Thalib, kerinci district, totaling 15 people. This study uses a quantitative approach where the research method is using path analysis. From the research results, it is known that work discipline has a significant effect on this performance as evidenced by tcount> ttable or 2,388> 2,160 with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05. Motivation has a significant effect on this performance as evidenced by tcount> ttable or 6.606> 2.160, and a significance value of 0.02 <0.05. Work Discipline and Motivation together have an effect on this performance as evidenced by Fcount> Ftable or ((21,960> 3.81) and a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. Motivation is able to mediate the relationship between Work Discipline and Performance. z of 2.269, because the z value obtained is 2.279> 1.96 with a significance level of 5%.
