Abstract

Effectiveness of Employee Performance Assessment at the Office of the Kerinci Seblat National Park. This study took the location of the Kerinci Seblat National Park Center with the formulation of research problems on how the effectiveness of employee performance assessment at the Kerinci Seblat National Park office. Research Objectives To determine the effectiveness of employee performance appraisal at the Kerinci Seblat National Park Office. This study used a qualitative approach where data were obtained through interviews with seven informants. From the research results it is known that the performance assessment of the existing State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is relevant because it is prepared based on the duties and functions of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in accordance with the work plan and work targets. The SKP assessment compares the performance targets charged with the realization achieved and the targets determined while the assessment of Work Behavior is carried out through observations by the appraiser of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in accordance with the specified criteria considered to be unable to measure the level of employee performance but there has been no more concrete sanction when there are findings of low employee performance in accordance with the regulations - applicable laws. SKP and PKP-based assessments are basically easier to observe the results of employee performance in a more real way, because that's where there is employee performance in carrying out their duties, this can be observed from the targets previously listed in the SKP preparation with the realization that the employee has achieved. ASN's work performance assessment does not violate the applicable law and runs objectively at the Kerinci Seblat National Park.
