Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of sub-district expansion on improving public services in Tanah Cogok District, Kerinci Regency. The informants in this study came from people who were directly related to the impact of sub-district expansion on improving public services. The research instrument is the researcher himself and data collection through interviews and field observations.

The results of the research are the impact of physical evidence after the expansion on public service improvement is to provide convenience and comfort for the community in getting government services and services provided, the impact of expansion on the reliability of providing services to the community is that the reliability of sub-district officers in providing services based on community service standards can enjoy Fast and accurate service so that people feel satisfied with the services provided. With the existence of this new sub-district the community can feel the impact this can be seen from the response of employees in providing services to the community. As a new sub-district, officers will provide fast and precise services so that the community can feel the impact on expansion, the impact with sub-district expansion on improving public services seen from the point of guaranteeing providing services, it can be seen that the community feels from service guarantees where the sub-district has guaranteed services quality, guarantees give trust to employees and guarantee services according to procedures and provisions and also the community feels the comfort of the District in the middle of the community and the impact of the expansion of Tanah Cogok District, the community can feel the impact of which officers put the interests of the community in getting services which are a priority in improving services. the community can see and feel the service portion since the sub-district was formed, the sub-district has placed standby service employees in serving the community
