Abstract

The Influence of the Number of Tourist Visits on Regional Income in the Tourism Sector in Kerinci Regency". PAD is revenue obtained by a region which is collected based on regional regulations in accordance with statutory regulations. The main problem is whether there is a significant effect of the number of foreign tourists visiting the regional income of the tourism sector in Kerinci Regency.The type of data used in this research is quantitative, which is time series data from 2015-2019. Regarding the Number of Tourist Visits and Regional Revenue from the Tourism Sector, which were obtained from the Kerinci Regency BPKPD Office and the Kerinci Regency Tourism Office. While the data collection method used is documentation technique.Literature study is an analytical technique to obtain information through notes, literature, etc. which are still relevant, and techniques for documenting data and information related to the object of study. The analysis method used in this method is simple linear regression analysis which is used to determine the magnitude of the influence of one variable on other variables with the help of SPSS V16.0. From the results of hypothesis testing, the results are obtained:1. Sig> ? so that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning that there is no significant influence between the number of tourist visits on PAD in the tourism sector in Kerinci Regency.2. The results of the partial analysis show that the independent variable the number of tourist visits has a large 54.9% influence on the variable of regional income in the tourism sector.
