Abstract

This thesis is made with the title "The Influence of Role Conflict and Ambiguity on Employee Performance in the National Political Unity Body and Community Protection". The purpose of this research is to determine how much influence of role conflict and ambiguity on employee performance at the National Political and Community Protection Agency. The data collection technique used in this research is library research and field research which includes distributing questionnaires. The selected respondents were the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the National Political and Community Protection Agency with a total of 42 respondents. The data processing technique used to determine the relationship between the two variables is to use the help of SPSS 20 software. The results obtained show that Role Conflict has a significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by tcount> ttable or (3.459> 2.021), so Ho is rejected Ha accepted it means that there is a significant influence between Role Conflict on Employee Performance at the National Political Unity Agency and Community Protection in Kerinci Regency. Ambiguity has a significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by tcount> ttable or (2.070> 2.021), then Ho is rejected. Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between ambiguity on employee performance at the National Political and Community Protection Agency of Kerinci Regency. Role Conflict and Ambiguity have a significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by Fcount> Ftable or (9.409> 3.24), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between Role Conflict and Ambiguity on Employee performance at the National Political and Protection Agency. Kerinci Regency community. The magnitude of the effect of Role Conflict partially on employee performance is 0.230 or 23%. The amount of influence of ambiguity partially on employee performance is 0.094% or 9.4%. The amount of influence between Role Conflict and Ambiguity simultaneously on employee performance is 0.325% or 32.5%.
