Abstract

The background of this research is that the management of correspondence is not optimal according to the official script, not yet orderly management of inventory items, the low desire or motivation of officers related to managing archives, especially incoming and outgoing letters at the Secretariat of the Kumun Debai District Office. This study aims to find out to find out the analysis of employee performance in the management of correspondence according to the official document (study at the secretariat of the Kumun Debai sub-district office). From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that 1). Work Performance shows that there is a lack of employee performance and there are some employees who are not guided by the main duties or functions or are not in accordance with the official script. 2). Discipline shows that there is a lack of discipline among employees and there are some employees who are not guided by the main duties of the office at the Secretariat of the Kumun Debai District Office. 3). Cooperation shows that cooperation in the Secretariat of the Kumun Debai District Office, there is still a lack of cooperation in managing outgoing and incoming letters based on the official script. 4). Skills show that the maintenance and security at the Secretariat of the Kumun Debai District Office is skilled in storing and managing outgoing and incoming mail, including maintaining letters in filing cabinets and filling cabinets to avoid dust, insects, fire and water. 5). Responsibility shows that the responsibility of employees in carrying out all work is still lacking.
