This study aims to reveal the effect of work discipline on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Kerinci Regency.
This study uses quantitative methods, with exogenous variables, namely work discipline variables (X) and endogenous variables, namely the performance of the employees of the Regional Secretariat of Kerinci Regency (Y). The population of this study were all employees at the Regional Secretariat of Kerinci Regency. Respondents in this study amounted to 95 samples. The data collection technique in this study used a proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, both content and empirical tests of items in the field.
The results of this study have found that the hypothetical model has proven to be a new model in improving employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Kerinci Regency. The findings in this study indicate that: There is a direct effect of work discipline on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Kerinci Regency 7.7% with a significance of 0.002.
