Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the income of Small and Medium Enterprises in Sungai Penuh City during the Covid-19, with the formulation of the problem how is the income of Small and Medium Enterprises in Sungai Penuh City during the Covid-19 pandemic?. This study used a qualitative research where data is obtained through structured interviews in the field to 13 informants using interview guidelines which are then analyzed by data triangulation through data reduction, data interpretation and drawing conclusions so as to obtain accurate information. The results obtained 1). the number of SME actors For 2019 and 2020 8772 actors have been recorded in the city of Sungai Penuh and divided by business category and grouped by sub-district where the business is carried out. 2. For the income of small business actors during the pandemic, almost everything went down. The level of "down" opinion depends on what kind of business they are doing. Small businesses in the form of daily necessities can still run well, but the number of buyers has decreased 3). As for the income of Medium Enterprises, it is "very down" and almost does not operate, but the decrease in income depends on what kind of business is being carried out. For business actors in the trading category, they can still operate because it is still in the category of daily necessities, but it is inversely proportional to the service category because during the PSBB they are not allowed to operate. And there is no government assistance for SMEs
