PENGARUH SEKTOR PERTAMBANGAN DAN PENGGALIAN TERHADAP PEREKONOMIAN KOTA SAWAHLUNTO

Abstract

Large coal resources in Sawah Lunto make the economy rely on the mining and quarrying sector. From the BPS data, the contribution of the mining and quarrying sector in Sawahlunto PDRB in 2011 with a total annual amount of 1.663.253.910.000 rupiah. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The type of data used is secondary data originating from BPS Sawahlunto city for 10 years from 2011-2020 then analyzed using the hypothesis test method (t test) and the coefficient of determination (KD) . The result of this study concludethat the mining anf quarrying sector has a positive effect on the economy in the city of Sawahlunto even though it fluctuates every year.
