PROFESIONALISME OPERATOR DALAM PENGOLAHAN DATA ADMINISTRASI DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN STIA-NUSANTARA SAKTI SUNGAI PENUH

Abstract

Professionalism emphasizes mental attitude in the form of commitment from a job
that becomes a profession. The purpose of this study was to describe Operator
Professionalism in Administrative Data Processing at the STIA-Nusantara Sakti
Educatonal Institution Sungai Penuh. This study used a qualitative type of research.
The research was conducted at STIA-Nusantara Sakti Sungai Penuh.
The informant selection technique in this study used the purposive sampling
technique, the informants in this research were 9 informants. The techniques used
in collecting data are interview, observation and documentation techniques.
The results of this research indicate that the Professionalism of the Operators of
STIA-Nusantara Sakti Sungai Penuh has been professionally proven by
competence, effectiveness, efficiency and responsibility which are quite good.
However, there are several factors that hinder Operator Professionalism, including
technology from systems/applications on portals as well as internet and electricity
networks that are experiencing disruptions. In addition, the lack of workshops
attended by operators and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This problem is
known to the educational institution and a solution will be found as soon as
possible.
