Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of integrity and Human Resource
Management on performance. either directly or indirectly at the Ministry of
Religion of Sungai Penuh City. This research uses quantitative methods, with
exogenous variables namely integrity variables (X1), human resource management
intervening variables (X2), and endogenous variables namely Performance (Y).
The population of this study is all 56 State Civil Apparatuses (ASN) at the Ministry
of Religion of Sungai Penuh City. The data analysis technique used is path analysis
and is divided into 2 paths, namely sub structure 1 and sub structure 2. Data
collected through questionnaires, research findings shows that: 1) There is a
significant direct effect of integrity on human resource management, where the
contribution value obtained is 0.086 or 8.6% with a significance of 0.000. 2) There
is a significant direct effect of integrity on performance, where the contribution
value obtained is 0.462 or 46.2% with a significance of 0.000. 3) There is a
significant direct influence of human resource management on performance, where
the contribution value obtained is 0.051 or 5.1% with a significance of 0.000. 4)
There is an indirect effect of integrity on performance through human resource
management significantly, where the contribution value obtained is 0.045 or 4.5%
