IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM PEMBINAAN ANAK TERLANTAR PADA DINAS SOSIAL KOTA SUNGAI PENUH

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of the neglected child development program and the
implementation of the neglected child development program at the Sungai Penuh City Social Service.
Respondents in this study were the Head of Sungai Penuh City Social Service, Head of Social
Empowerment, Head of Data, Caretakers of Aisyah Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh orphanage and
abandoned children living in Aisyah Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh Orphanage. Based on the results
of the research, it can be concluded that: The form of the neglected child development program at the
Sungai Penuh City Social Service is contained in the RKA (Activity and Budget Plan) the program
consists of four programs, namely: (1) data collection of neglected children; (2) Facilities Assistance
for Neglected Children; (3) sending abandoned children to the nursing home; and (3) Optimization of
neglected children development programs. All development programs for neglected children at the
Sungai Penuh City Social Service have been carried out quite well by collaborating with the
implementing staff and involving related parties such as village officials and caretakers.
