Abstract

One of the important benchmarks in determining the success of economicdevelopment is economic growth. The role of the government in an effort to achieve development success is to determine the direction of development policies and to achieve these development goals, it is necessary to have good development planning to realize stable economic growth in order to improve the welfare of the community, namely by increasing Regional Original Income (PAD), Manpower, and Investation. This study aims to determine the simultaneous and partial effect of PAD, labor, and investment on economic growth. The data source is secondary data using panel data consisting of time series data for five years and cross section data for eight sub-districts in Sungai Penuh City. The analytical technique used to solve the problem in this research is the multiple linear regression analysis model. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously PAD, labor, and investment have a significant effect on economic growth in Sungai Penuh. Partially PAD and labor have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of Sungai Penuh City, while investment has no significant effect.
