Abstract

    MHD.Ikhwan,S.Ap, The focus of this research is on the role of village officials in implementing the government of Ujung Pasir Village, Tanah Cogok District. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of village officials in implementing village administration tasks. The research method used is quantitative method, and the type of research is descriptive. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study were the Village Head, Village Secretary, Village Consultative Body (BPD), Three Heads of Affairs, and Community Leaders. The results showed that: First, the role of village officials in carrying out administrative tasks in Ujung Pasir Village, Tanah Cogok District was still not optimal. This assessment is due to the lack of training for the three heads of affairs, both government, development, and the general public, recognizing that their roles have not been maximized in carrying out their duties and functions effectively. It is proven by the ineffectiveness of carrying out the duties of the village government in the village of Ujung Pasir in recording or filling out the register books.
