Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of formal communication on the job satisfaction of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Regional Finance Agency of Sungai Penuh City, while the population and sample in this study are employees who are considered to be 36 people. The analytical tool used in this research is simple linear regression by performing a regression test, the results of the study indicate that formal organizational communication has a significant effect on job satisfaction of state civil servants. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test test where the value of t count> t table (15,710> 1,697), the effect of the effect of work mutations as proven by Rsquare is 0.879 or (87.9%), while the remaining 12.1% is by other variables.
