Abstract

Effectiveness is the main thing to achieve a goal that has been targeted in an organization, activity or program. Called effective if the target or goal that has been determined has been achieved. This study aims to find out how the effectiveness of the E-kir service for Motor Vehicle Testing at the Transportation Service Office of Kerinci regency. This research is based on the desire of the Department of Transportation of Kerinci Regency in improving services to the community, one of which is the service of motor vehicle testing. To realize an easy and efficient motor vehicle testing service. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and data analysis by collecting data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. An in-depth interview approach using interview guidelines with the problem under study and Documentation and Respondents A total of 9 (nine) people consisting of Motor Vehicle Testing Officers and Motor Vehicle Testing Service Users. The location of this research is the Department of Transportation of Kerinci Regency. From the results of the study it ca be concluded that the effectiveness of the E-Kir Pegujian service for motorized vehicles at the Kerinci district transportation office. has been effective but not maximized when viewed from the three indicators used, namely: (1) The time factor has been effective but has not been maximized because there are still obstacles in the management process. (2) The resulting Accuracy Factor has been effective. (3) The style factor of the service provider has been effective.
