Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of difficult business actors in doing marketing and product promotion widely, many UMKM do not have business licenses, there are still many UMKM that have not been recorded, the number of UMKM is increasingly unable to grow and develop. The purpose of this research is to provide Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Development during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Sungai Penuh City. This research uses a qualitative method. The research data obtained are primary data and secondary data by using various literatures such as books, articles and journals to access data related to UMKM development during the COVID-19 pandemic. It can be said that the UMKM of Sungai Penuh City are not yet effective in accordance with the indicators used in this study, namely 1). Targeting, 2). Program socialization, 3). Program Objectives, 4). Program Monitoring. These four indicators have not been fully achieved so that they have an impact on the development of UMKM in Sungai Penuh City. In this coaching activity the Cooperatives and UMKM Service in Sungai Full City cannot do many things in other words, it has limitations in breaches or funds because funds are diverted for Covid-19 and the absence of facilities and infrastructure assistance provided to UMKM in Sungai Penuh City. It is also important in carrying out the development of UMKM to involve bureaucratic leaders both in the District and in the City so that this program can later run more effectively and usefully. In addition, in the implementation of this development, collaboration is also very much needed both with the private sector and SOEs as well as involving CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to maximize the development of UMKM in the development of the River City as well as sustainable development activities for UMKM.
