Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the functions and duties of the government and regional autonomy divisions in the regional secretariat of the Sungai Penuh city based on law number 23 of 2014 concerning regional government and to determine the implementation of the functions and duties of the government and regional autonomy divisions in the regional secretariat of Sungai Penuh City. based on law number 23 of 2014 concerning regional government. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The informants in this study were 3 employees of the full river area secretariat, and the key informant was the head of the regional autonomy section. This research uses purposive sampling technique. Because the researcher feels that the sample taken knows the most about the problem to be studied by the researcher. The data collection instrument in this study was the result of interviews. The results of the research show that: ( 1) preparation of local government policies. (2) organizing the implementation of regional service tasks. (3) monitoring the evaluation of the implementation of regional service tasks. (4) administrative and apparatus development.
