Abstract

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children aged less than five years (toddlers) due to chronic inadequate nutrition and frequent infections, especially during the first 1,000 days of life (HPK), starting from a baby or fetus. to twenty-three months of age. Research Objectives To find out the DPPKBPP&PA Policy Efforts in Preventing Stunting in Kerinci Regency and to find out what are the obstacles in Efforts DPPKBPP&PA Policy in Preventing Stunting in Kerinci Regency, this study used a descriptive qualitative The results show that the policy efforts of DPPKBPP&PA in preventing stunting in Kerinci district are still not optimal due to the insufficient budget in implementing the acceleration of stunting reduction and the lack of response from each relevant Regional Government Organization (OPD) and Human Resources (HR) involved. not exactly what is in the field.
