Abstract
The Role of information Management and Documentation Officials (PPID) in Public Information Disclosure Case study: at the Department of Communication, Information and Statitics, Sungai Penuh City”. The Formulation of the problem in this study is how is the role of the Information Management and Documentation Officer (PPID) in terms of service and provision of public information at the Sungai Penuh City Communication and Information Office. The purpose of this study wa to determine, analyze and describr the role of Information Management and Documentation Officers (PPID) in the Communications and Information Office of Sungai Penuh City in the implementation of pub;ic information disclosure in Sungai Penuh City. This study uses a qualitative approach in which the date obtained through interviews with 4 informants referring to the study using interview guidelines which were then carried out by data analysis and triangulation theough data reduction. The result of the study incate that the Information Management and Documentation Officer (PPID) in the implementation of public information disclosure, the information and statiscal communication service of the city of Sungai Penuh plays the rolr of Administrator, Facilitator, Information System Operator and PPID Implementing and Evaluator in terms of public information services. Data interpretation and drawing conclusions so as to obtain accurate information.
