Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the impact of the division of the sub-district on infrastructure development and improving the quality of public services in the District of Danau Kerinci Barat, Kerinci Regency. This study took place at the office of the District of Danau Kerinci Barat, Kerinci Regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with sampling insidental technique as a determinant in the selection of research informants. Based on data analysis from the results of the research conducted, it was concluded that the division of the sub-district was still not maximal in providing a good impact in accelerating infrastructure development in the Danau Kerinci Barat sub-district, this can be seen from the lack of physical developments that existed after the expansion, after the expansion. no infrastructure development has been implemented or realized. In terms of improving public services after the expansion of the improvement of public services is the convenience felt by the community to get good service. The division of sub-districts has had a fairly good impact in improving the quality of public services in Danau Kerinci Barat District, but there are still several dimensions of the quality of public services that have not been implemented properly.
