Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the village government's efforts to overcome stunting in Koto Tengah Village Air Hangat Barat District Kerinci Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative type of research with Purposive Sampling technique as a determinant of research informants. The results showed that the village government's efforts to overcome stunting in Koto Tengah Village, Air Hangat Barat District, were quite good. However, there are several stages that are still less than optimal, namely, at the stage of improving the quality of implementation, there is no socialization from the village government to the community. At the reporting stage, the use of village funds in stunting prevention is not filled by the Human Development Cadre (KPM), the total allocation of funds and percent of each field consisting of the field of village development and the field of village community empowerment. And at the stage of increasing the capacity of Human Resources (HR), it is necessary to provide more training than before.
