PROGRAM PELAYANAN KESEHATAN SERTA UPAYA PENCEGAHAN STUNTING PADA BALITA DI KECAMATAN SIULAK MUKAI KABUPATEN KERINCI

Abstract

This study aims to determine the health service program and prevention of stunting in children under five in the Siulak mukai sub-district, Kerinci district, this study used a descriptive qualitative method with purposive sampling technique as a determinant of research informants. The results of the study show that health service programs and efforts to prevent stunting in toddlers every year the prevalence of stunting continues to decline, it shows that district and sub-district governments really pay attention to improving nutrition in toddlers so that toddler nutrition is well fulfilled and can reduce stunting rates to 4.32 % in 2021. Especially in Siulakmukai sub-district in 2020 there were 116 cases and then it decreased to 41 cases in 2022. For this reason, parenting is very important and supported by the government so that Kerinci district and Siulak mukai sub-district are free from stunting.
