This study aims to determine the Implementation of Employee Performance in the Development of Prisoners at Class IIB State Detention Center sungaipenuh. The informants in this study were the managers of the Sungai penuh Class IIB State Detention Center and 6 inmates. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using an interview guide. Namely using in-depth interviews with research informants. In this study, the results obtained were that the Implementation of Employee Performance in the Development of Prisoners at the Sungai penuh Class IIB State Detention Center had been running but there were still factors that influenced the development of prisoners such as budgetary issues, human resources, and convict behavior, this was in accordance with the theoretical indicators used Quality of work, Timeliness, Initiative, Ability and Communication.
