Abstract

Local Government Efforts in Overcoming Stunting Factors in Review from Socio-Economic Aspects (Case Study in Tebing Tinggi Village, Danau Kerinci District). Public Administration Study Program. The incidence of stunting is one of the nutritional problems experienced by toddlers in the world today. Stunting has a major impact on the growth and development of children and also the Indonesian economy in the future. This study aims to find out how the local government's efforts are in overcoming the stunting factor, in which this study tries to identify and analyze the various efforts made by the local government which are implemented at the village government level in reducing the prevalence of stunting in their area. This study used a qualitative research method with a purposive sampling technique as a determinant of research informants. Data collection techniques and tools in this study were interviews and documents. The results of this study indicate that the local government's efforts implemented at the village government level in reducing the prevalence of stunting have gone well, there are 4 village government efforts in overcoming stunting factors that have been implemented, but negligence and awareness from the community itself has made the program from the village government not achieved properly. maximum. The local health center also participates in the process of tackling stunting factors such as assistance for the community so that this has been achieved, namely a reduction in stunting sufferers and has started to improve overall.
