Abstract

The focus of this research is on the role of village officials in implementing the administration of Mukai Tinggi Village, Siulak Mukai District. The aim of this research is to determine the role of village officials in carrying out administrative tasks of village government. The research method used is a qualitative method, and the type of research is descriptive. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study were the Village Head, Village Secretary, Village Consultative Body (BPD) Three Heads of Affairs, and Community Leaders. The results of the study show that: First, the role of village officials in carrying out administrative tasks in Mukai Tinggi Village, Siulak Mukai District, is still not optimal. This assessment is due to the lack of training of the three heads of affairs, both government, development, and the general public, who admit that their roles have not been maximized in carrying out their duties and functions effectively. Evidenced by the ineffective implementation of village government duties in the village of Mukai Tinggi in recording or filling out the register books.
