Abstract

This study entitled The Effect of Competence and e-Government on the Quality of Public Services in the Population and Civil Registry Office of Sungai Penuh City. This study uses a quantitative approach.  The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between Competency on Service Quality of Population Service and Civil Registry of Sungai Penuh City, proven by tcount> t table 3.080> 2,571. thitung> ttabel 3,007> 2,571. There is a significant influence between Competence and e-Government on Service Quality of Population Service and Civil Registry of Sungai Penuh City that can be proven by Fcount> Ftable 6,813> 6,591. , 00%, while the remaining 89.00% can be explained by other reasons. The magnitude of the partial effect between e-Government to the Quality of Service of Population Services and Civil Registry of Sungai Penuh City is 17.70%. While the remaining 82.30% can be explained by other causes. The magnitude of the simultaneous influence between Competence and e-Government on Service Quality of Population Service and Civil Registry of Sungai Penuh City is 20.60% while the remaining 79.40% can be explained by other causes.
