Abstract

This study aims to find out how effective the implementation of the e-court application is in an effort to improve the quality of public services at the Sungaipuh District Court. This study used a qualitative research method with a purposive sampling technique as a determinant of research informants. Data collection techniques and tools in this study were interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of the application of e-court in an effort to improve the quality of public services at the Sungaipuh District Court can be categorized as good, there are several aspects that have been able to be implemented including: Transparency in public services, in terms of time, and in terms of costs. This can be seen from the implementation of e-court services which provide fast service at low cost to facilitate the public in registering cases that have been carried out properly and effectively, which have proven to be able to eradicate services, make them concise and reduce queuing systems.
