Abstract

The existence of village officials is often a polemic on the process of appointing and dismissing village officials, given the limited number of village officials, while community demands have not been resolved. Therefore, the author in this case is interested in conducting or conducting a scientific study of the authority of the village head in appointing and dismissing village officials based on Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning villages. The type of research used is normative legal research. The approach used in this study is the legal approach and conceptual approach. The data collection techniques used are library studies. The data analysis technique used in this study is data analysis using the results of literature review. The results of this study indicate that the arrangements for the appointment and dismissal of Village devices are regulated in Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, government regulations Number 43 of 2014 concerning the implementation of Law Number 4 of 2014 concerning Villages and more specific arrangements contained in ministerial regulations in country Number 83 of 2015 concerning the dismissal and dismissal of village equipment. While the authority to appoint and dismiss the Village apparatus is the authority of the village head, but the authority is not an absolute authority, but there is an involvement of the sub-district head in giving approval to the appointment and dismissal of the Village apparatus.
