Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of women's leadership in public office in Salampaung Village, Kerinci Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The research location is in Selampaung Village, Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency. Types and sources of data consist of primary data and secondary data. Village head informants, village officials and the Selampaung village Community Techniques and data collection tools Observation, Interview, Documentation, interview tools mobile notebooks (HP), data analysis techniques and data validity Techniques The findings of the research show that the leadership role of women in public office in Salampaung Village, Kerinci Regency with a leadership policy with the attitude of a woman leader in realizing the Vision and Mission of the Village, She really sticks to her stance and her words while her charismatic nature makes the community feel reluctant towards her, the female leader is the same as the male leader who are firm, wise, transparent, and also able to properly protect the community. The results of the study show that The mother indicator always listens to the suggestions and input of her staff and always maintains good communication with her staff, while the most prominent attitude is the charismatic attitude of sticking to her stance.
