Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see what factors influence stunting in the Working Area of ??the Sanggaran Agung Public Health Center, Danau Kerinci District. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with purposive sampling technique as a determinant of research informants. The results of the study showed that there were factors that influenced stunting, namely parents' education, economic factors, parenting patterns and health insurance factors. This is because the low education of parents in the working area of ??the Sanggaran Agung Health Center has an effect on the level of parental knowledge about stunting, parenting that is still not good and the economy is mostly low in informants which can cause stunting in toddlers. Although access to services from the public health center is quite good, there is still a lack of special services during pregnancy in preventing stunting and inactive services from KPM (Human Development Cadres) in preventing stunting.
