Abstract

Entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector is a form of professional management of the agricultural sector. The application of entrepreneurial management will be able to make the agricultural sector a driving force for economic progress, job creation, and improvement of people's social life. Entrepreneurship is a means of increasing the economy, productivity, innovation and employment growth (Sharifzadeh and Zamani, 2005; Kushwaha and Maru, 2015), so that through the development of agricultural entrepreneurship, the agricultural sector can provide jobs and better income. The purpose of this study was to find out the analysis of entrepreneurship training on the growth of interest in entrepreneurship in the people of Angkasa Pura Village, Setinjau Laut District, Kerinci Regency (Case Study on Entrepreneurs Selling Medicines and Fertilizers in the Agricultural Sector). This research approach uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive research type, this research is carried out in a coherent manner to describe objectively and rationally about the object of research. Basically this research method is used in order to achieve research results that can be scientifically accounted for by researchers. Research results The transformation of farmers into entrepreneurs seems to be a demand that cannot be avoided if they want to survive in their business. Of course, developing entrepreneurial competence and business management in farmers is not an easy task to carry out.
