Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on employee performance through the work culture at the Social Services Office of Sungaipuh City. Work environment (X), work culture (Z) are independent variables and employee performance (Y) is the dependent variable. The population of this study were the employees of the Social Service of the City of Sungai penuh, totaling 22 people. The analytical tools used in this study were validity test, reliability test, linearity test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test. The results of the first hypothesis test (Ha1) showed that there was no significant effect of 0.794 <0.5. The second hypothesis (Ha2) indicates that there is a significant effect between the work environment on employee performance with a significant level of 0.583 <0.5. The third hypothesis (Ha3) indicates that there is a significant effect between employee performance and work culture with a significant level of 0.794 <0 ,5. The results of the study show that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work culture at the Social Service Office of Sungai Full City.
