Abstract

This research aims to examine the factors that influence women in determining their ideal choice in the 2018 regional elections in Depati VII District, Kerinci Regency. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative approach, namely by using findings that are not obtained through statistical procedures or other forms of calculations and carried out in a natural situation (natural setting). The data collection technique was carried out using continuously developing qualitative methods (snowball). The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, the author was able to obtain factors that influence women's ideal choices in the 2018 regional elections in Depati VII District, Kerinci Regency, namely educational factors, family factors, money politics factors, where these factors can influence women's ideal choices.
