ANALISIS POTENSI DAN STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN OBJEK WISATA KEBUN TEH KAYU ARO KABUPATEN KERINCI

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Potential Analysis and Development Strategy of the Kayu Aro Tea Plantation Tourism Object, Kerinci Regency. Respondents in this study were 20 people (informants), including the tourism agency, as well as the Kayu Aro community. The analytical tool used in this research is qualitative data analysis. The results of the study show that: 1. welfare, it can be concluded that in preparing the regional government strategic plan, it always involves elements of the community, the police, the military, as well as all community leaders, both traditional and religious leaders, as well as the local community to provide advice and input to the local government regarding welfare regarding the development of tourist objects is in accordance with existing provisions 2. cultural assets are protected, in this process the implementation is carried out by the regional government based on existing guidelines and regulations, and the determination process of the head of service has a very large role in determining cultural assets that need to be protected in the tourist area of ??Kerinci Regency. Meanwhile, the community does not understand the process of determining protection and cultural assets because they are not involved in the process. 3. supervision, in the Potential Analysis and Strategy for the Development of the Kayu Aro Tea Plantation, Kerinci Regency, namely supervision and monitoring carried out by the government who feel they have done their best in supervising and monitoring, however, it is different from the community who still think that the local government is still lacking in providing supervision and monitoring of tourist objects.
