PENGARUH LOYALITAS PEGAWAI TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI MELALUI KEPEMIMPINAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA KANTOR CAMAT AIR HANGAT BARAT KABUPATEN KERINCI

Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of loyalty on employee performance through leadership at the Kantor Camat Air Hangat Barat Kabupaten Kerinci. This study uses a quantitative method, with the independent variable namely loyalty variable (X), leadership intervening variable (Z) and the dependent variable namely performance (Y). The sample of this research is all employees, totaling 23 people. The data analysis technique used was path analysis and was divided into 2 paths, namely the path 1 model and the path 2 model. The data was collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability beforehand, both content and empirical test items in the field. The results of this study based on research findings show that: 1. Analysis of the influence of X on Z obtained a significance value of X1 0.005 <0.05, so it can be interpreted that there is a direct significant influence of X on Z. 2. Analysis of the influence of X on Y obtained a significance value of X 0.085 <0.05, so it can be interpreted that there is a direct significant effect of X on Y. 3. An analysis of the influence of Z on Y obtained a significance value of Z 0.060 <0.05, so it can be interpreted that there is a direct significant effect of Z on Y. 4 Analysis of the effect of X through Z on Y, it is known that the direct effect that X has on Y is 0.219. Meanwhile, the indirect effect of X1 through Z on Y is the multiplication of the beta value of X on Z and the beta value of Z on Y, namely: 0.433 x 0.315 = 0.136. Then the total effect that X has on Y is the direct effect plus the indirect effect, namely 0.219 + 0.136 = 0.355. Based on the calculation results, it is known that these results indicate that indirectly X through Z has a significant influence on Y.
