Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the post-election political communication strategy for the Head of Tanjung Muda Village, Hamparan Rawang District, Sungai Full City. From the research results that: 1). Political Communicator, namely the strategy practiced in the field is in accordance with the theory, meaning that the political communication strategy is a way that is practiced to achieve predetermined goals. 2). Political messages by lobbying community leaders, namely influential figures in a village, be it businessmen, DPRK members, and journalists, to make it easier to convey the vision and mission of the pair, as well as lobbying several figures to convince the community itself. 3). The political media used by the village head candidate team are in the form of billboards, banners, billboards, banners, and tree advertisements. The contents published from this outdoor media are in the form of visions and missions, programs, symbols or pictures of candidate pairs. This media has been determined in accordance with the rules of the City of Sungai Lilin KPU.” 4). The political audience invites the public to come to TPS with basic information about schedules, election participants, the vision and mission of the candidates and so on, but the interests of voters to use their right to vote intelligently are not optimally utilized." 5). The influence of political communication means the process of action and reaction from communication that continues to feedback which is basically not related to space and time when the Timses encounters difficulties when meeting with ordinary people, education and from a scientific point of view it is very visible when the approach process is carried out by the Timses).
